You will have noticed that we are in a period of transition as our in-patient Ward 4B has temporarily been located to the adjoining Ward 3B. This temporary move is to facilitate the installation of a new air filtration system. Our staff have made every effort to manage this transition so as to limit the disruption it may have on patients and visitors; and have done so knowing that the short-term inconvenience will result in an improved environment once the works have been completed. We hope you can be patient while this work is being undertaken and the challenges it presents in the short-term. Be assured the temporary arrangements aim to create as little disruption as possible and will mean:

• A temporary move to an area of the hospital that has been deemed as a safe and suitable location to treat patients
• You will be in the care of the same staff that work in Ward 4B
• You will have the same contact numbers and contact arrangements

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and your families, and we assure you that every effort is being made to ensure that we return to Ward 4B as soon as is possible
